AI Ethics & Responsibility
Our Pledge for a Conscience-Driven Technology
1. Our Core Ethical Pillars
Beneficence
AI should act in the user's best interest, promoting well-being and self-understanding.
Non-Maleficence
We strictly prohibit the generation of harmful, scary, or medically dangerous content.
Autonomy
We empower users to make their own choices. The stars incline; they do not compel.
Justice
We strive to ensure our AI is free from cultural, racial, or gender bias in its interpretations.
2. The "Anti-Fatalism" Safeguard
Traditional astrology can sometimes be interpreted fatalistically (e.g., "You will have a bad marriage"). We have specifically fine-tuned our AI models with an Anti-Fatalism Protocol.
Our AI is instructed to:
- Frame challenges as opportunities for growth ("Karmic lessons").
- Always emphasize the role of Free Will and Karma (action) in changing outcomes.
- Avoid absolute predictions of death, severe illness, or unavoidable catastrophe.
3. Managing Hallucinations & Accuracy
Large Language Models can sometimes "hallucinate" (invent facts). To mitigate this in an astrological context:
- Separation of Concerns: The astronomical data (planetary positions) is calculated by deterministic code (NASA/Swiss Ephemeris algorithms), not the LLM. The LLM is only used to interpret this accurate data.
- Fact-Checking Layers: We implement validation layers to ensure the AI doesn't invent planetary transits that aren't happening.
- Transparency: We clearly label AI-generated insights so users understand the source of the information.
4. Bias Detection & Mitigation
Historical astrological texts can contain outdated views on gender roles or caste. We actively curate our training prompts and system instructions to:
- Use gender-neutral language where appropriate.
- Modernize interpretations for the 21st-century context (e.g., reinterpreting "career" vs "domestic life" balance).
- Regularly audit model outputs for discriminatory patterns.
5. Human-in-the-Loop
While the daily operations are automated, our prompt engineering and model selection processes involve human astrologers and ethical reviewers. We conduct quarterly audits of a random sampling of anonymized conversations to ensure quality and strictly intervene if the AI drifts from our ethical guidelines. We also maintain a "Kill Switch" to disable the AI if it begins to produce harmful content.
